ok so its sophomore summer, and its been pretty sweet so far. lots of partying, lots of chilling, its just a lot of fun.

since i'm actually active in a few communities around here, i might as well start updating again. where to start........

sophomore year. its a third of the way over. no wait...a fourth. damn sophomore summer! though i do get fall off, so maybe that makes up for it. thats actually all thats going on. how sad, huh? that just gives me more time to watch tv and tv reruns. i've watched all 5 seasons of futurama, all 10 seasons of friends, most of daria, and i caught up some on my star trek voyager. not to mention all those movies i've been watching. i am aware that i should be studying...so i am studying. while i watch, of course. its like having twice the time in a day. sort of. the only problm is i cant seem to pay attention to both the tv and the studying. i said problem, but i didnt mean it was a negative thing. i can always find a solution. maybe i could mute the tv during commercials and ccram for five minutes, or read the most important stuff when absolutely nothing good is on tv or i've run out of reruns to watch on my computer. well i'll think about it and get back to you. i guess this is my first official thing i am gonna do for sophomore winter. i hate having assignments, especially those i inadvertantly assign to myself..

the stupid dartmouth review. ugh. they read these blogs my friends and i have, take everything in them out of context, defame my best friend, and basically say we suck. no way, not cool. but really, there is nothing we can do. an independent college newspaper doesnt have to follow school rules, and getting the law involved isnt an option for people who would prefer their lives kept out of government scrutiny.

in other news, last weekend was parent's weekend, and of course it was full of fun and drama. you know, the usual. well i have spanish class in 15 minutes (never again will i sign up for a 9L or 9S calss, NEVER!) so ugh, i suppose i should get ready, meaning i should find my homework thats due at 9 sharp. school's out in a month...

oh today was fun, except for when none of my 4 alarms went off and i missed spanish class, and my presentation. but i met with my seminar professor, and he told me i was a really good writer, and he would let me into his creative writing class next winter or spring. then there was the group dynamics session for trip leading. it was amazingly run, i cant believe i am about to say this, but i cant wait for the risk assessment session. at the session, sonia (chris' co-leader) said she might want to switch with me cause she has UGA training. i could get to lead a trip with my trippee! yay!

oh, and that spanish presentation...i did it all dartmouth style. actually i just changed that today. i got a cool mexican song and i put my own words over it (yes, in spanish) and i am going to dance to it, with a slide presentation in the background. OOH! my parents are coming up this thursday for first-year family weekend, so um..i was a nerd and invited them to see my presentation. oh well, its gonna be so awesome i should be selling tickets for it.

i stayed up for no apparent reason. well there was that thing about it raining and too much noise and 7:45 language drill and...ok, so there were many reasons (even though they didnt make sense). so spanish will last til 10, then i can sleep til about 1 when i have therapy (yay!), then when i get out of that at 2 my medication will be ready to pick up, and i can come back and sleep til 4 when i have my seminar. then...i think there is other stuff i have to do but hell, i cant remember. its raining and i hate it when it rains for 3 days in a row. i dont have an umbrella. and if i did have one, i wouldnt know how to use it.

i went to this dinner last night where we got to discuss issues with the dean. yay for knowing the dean. oh i have an excellent idea: i will go to drill now, fall asleep in the class (so i can at least rest a little) and then people will wake me up at 7:45! i wont have to worry about being late either! oh what a genius i am!

language drill is like, ugh. 7:45 am, every week day...the drill instructor says something, snaps, we repeat it. then time for individual exercises. i am always half asleep when i show up, but luckily my drill instructor is a fellow 08 (along with most of the class) so he basically just laughs about it.

my damn computer isnt working..the wireless network is just being weird. weird weird weird. a weird negative pussy face. supid computer......

i wish i had something less mundane to write about. oh yeah, we were all outside today and who "runs/jogs" by? uh huh, the EX. he was wearing this tight ass rugby shorts and a HUGE rugby shirt (striped of course, DAYUM) and like, some clogs or something. guess he was late to practice. anyway, i'm lookin at him like, is that...no, couldnt be...uh huh, wow he got er...big. so i point him out to chris and he is like huh? and then tena gets all curious about who it is and makes a scene...good thing he was listening to his wannabe iPod (he is SO jealous of my 40GB bundle of joy, even though we're not even on speaking terms. such an MWT), and trying not to lose his clogs. people like that should not be wearing clothes like that. i dont care what sport they play or who they USED to be.

oh yeah, new iPod from ebay, to match my new clothes from ebay. hell yes i am one cheap minority.

but i'm too lazy to change them. so why the hell did i just complain???

anyway

what a stupid moronic sappy girl i was to be dating that....thing earlier this year. alas! i am now free, and have been for a few months now. i guess i can shove that relationship under the "regret" file and move on. i thought i'd update any readers of this journal (if any at all) as to what happened with that. didnt want to leave people hanging.

i broke up with my boyfriend a couple hours ago. in all honesty though, i dont know how this current situation will last. i'm already doubting my decision. well i suppose i will just have to see what the therapist says about this. they know everything, dont they? everything is reminding me of him right now...and all i am doing is crying. i really miss him, and hell, we broke up like, 2 hours ago! i think i made a mistake. but i dont want to take it back because i mean, i put him through all that stress and sadness and such, i wasted a box of kleenex, i told him the truth about some things....there is no way i can ever erase that. i'm so confused, SO confused.

this term looks promising...but only if i actually go to class. so i will. i swear i will. seriously. i'm not kidding.

my friend chris is in english with me. this should prove to be quite interesting...we have a paper due monday, and i will bet anything we will pull an all-nighter doing it. and its only gonna be 2 pages!

the snow has begun. i missed the traditional freshman snowball fight, but i was cold and sick in my room. i don't suspect the snow will leave though, considering it is New Hampshire and it is January. i shall not see the ground again until about mid march, but thats when i go home for spring break anyway, so crap...do i ever get what i want? what is it i want? i'm confused....

i haven't slept tonight/recently or however i'd say that. so i need to go take my zoloft and a shower before class.
